Staff Accountant (Accounts Payable Focus)

Salary: $56,000-$67,000/year DOE
Location: On-Site, Gig Harbor

Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:

• Process high-volume accounts payable invoices, coding, and data entry

• Manage AP transactions and vendor invoice processing during ERP implementation

• Support invoice validation, data cleansing, and vendor master file accuracy ahead of system go-live
• 
  
• Assist with account reconciliations, GL entries, and AP-related month-end activities
• 
  
• Prepare AP documentation and support year-end audit requests
• 
  
• Help identify and improve AP processes during system and workflow transitions
• 
  

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

• 
  
• 2+ years of Accounts Payable or accounting experience
• 
  
• Experience with invoice processing, coding, and AP workflows
• 
  
• ERP experience preferred; system conversion experience is a plus
• 
  
• Ability to manage transactional accounting work with strong attention to detail
•
