As a Staff Accountant, you'll help ensure the accuracy of financial reporting, maintain the integrity of accounting records, and support business leaders with timely financial information that drives sound decision-making.

Our client is a privately held company serving the automotive industry through a network of retail tire service centers and distribution operations. The organization values accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement while maintaining a collaborative environment where finance plays an important role in supporting operational success.

    In this role, you will...

    • Prepare and post journal entries while maintaining the integrity of the general ledger.
    • Perform monthly account reconciliations and support timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
    • Assist in preparing accurate financial statements and internal management reports.
    • Analyze financial data, investigate variances, and resolve accounting discrepancies.
    • Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and other accounting functions as needed.
    • Assist with external audits, tax preparation, and compliance documentation.
    • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and increase operational efficiency.

    What We're Looking For

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • 2+ years of accounting experience in a corporate environment.
    • Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
    • Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
    • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

If you're an accounting professional who enjoys working in a hands-on business environment and wants to make a measurable impact within a growing organization, we'd welcome a confidential conversation to discuss this opportunity.
