Job Details
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Prepare monthly reconciliations for all accounts, including bank reconciliations and supporting documentation.
Compile, review, and submit sales commission reports for management approval.
Complete and process daily ACH transactions.
Record, code, and reconcile incoming payments and checks.
Maintain and update advertising expense tracking spreadsheets.
Support General Managers and Department Managers with accounting and reporting requests.
Review accounting schedules regularly and prepare necessary journal entries.
Prepare weekly and monthly financial analysis reports for Controllers and General Managers.
Assist in preparing dealership financial statements.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and company accounting policies.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and business information.
Attend required company meetings and trainings.
Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications Needed:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance preferred.
Minimum 4+ years of accounting experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
Strong background in general accounting principles and accounting processes.
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, including spreadsheet management and data analysis.
Experience processing ACH transactions and handling payment reconciliation functions.
Ability to prepare and analyze financial reports and financial statements.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
