Staff Accountant / Bookkeeper – Keep Nonprofit Finances Audit-ReadyCompany: All Seniors FoundationLocation: Los Angeles, CAAbout UsAll Seniors Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit committed to improving the quality of life for older adults across Los Angeles County. We provide medical care, in‑home support, hospice and palliative care, cancer navigation, and 200+ other free services to qualifying seniors. Every service is delivered at no cost, regardless of insurance status.Role OverviewAs Staff Accountant / Bookkeeper, you will maintain financial records for our 501(c)(3) nonprofit including grant tracking, donor accounting, payroll reconciliation, and audit preparation. You will work closely with the CFO/Treasurer and external auditors.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain general ledger, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations using QuickBooks or Sage IntacctTrack restricted vs. unrestricted funds; allocate expenses across grants and programsProcess payroll, contractor 1099s, and benefit deductionsPrepare monthly financial reports for leadership and the Board of DirectorsSupport annual Form 990 preparation and independent auditReconcile donor management system (DonorPerfect, Salesforce NPSP) with accounting recordsQualifications2+ years bookkeeping or staff‑accountant experience; nonprofit fund accounting a plusProficiency with QuickBooks Online and/or Sage IntacctStrong attention to detail and Excel/Google Sheets skillsFamiliarity with GAAP and nonprofit accounting (FASB ASU 2016‑14)Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related fieldWhat we OfferCompetitive salary ($52,000–$75,000)Hybrid flexibility for transaction workComprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k)Professional development budget for CPA / CNAP certificationQuiet, focused environmentOur Commitment to Inclusive HiringAll Seniors Foundation is an equal‑opportunity employer.
