Salary Range: $56,000-$62,000

We are seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to join the finance team in Boynton Beach. This position offersthe opportunity to play a key role in the organization's day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting the month-end close process. Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
• Perform bank, balance sheet, and general ledger account reconciliations.
• Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice review and payment processing.
• Assist with accounts receivable functions, including cash application and customer account reconciliations.
• Analyze financial data and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
• Support financial reporting and audit preparation.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other accounting projects as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and applicable regulations.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 2-5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a staff accountant or similar role.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP functions.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
