Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare financial projections and program budgetsReview and monitor individual transactions for compliance with private, local, state and federal fund requirementsPerform bank reconciliations and journal entries in support of the month-end and year-end close processAssist in preparing the annual budgetAssist with maintaining chart of accounts and financial reporting, including but not limited to, assisting with preparation of monthly reportsManage revenues and expenses budgetary lines to ensure adherence to organization budgets, personnel allocations, and operational allocationsVerify, allocate, post, and reconcile transactions to financial accounting systemParticipate with program staff in the planning, development, and review of grant funding requirementsServe as a subject matter expert in interpreting, developing, and applying appropriate regulations, policies, and procedures that pertain to grants and cooperative agreementsEnsure that all required actions are executed by PCHS in a timely manner both prior to and after the awardProficient in ExcelOther duties as assignedSupervisory Responsibilities This position has no direct reports.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (required)One to three years of accounting (accounts payable, payroll and/or general ledger) experience (preferred)Compensation $22 - $33.15 *Taking into account education and experience related to the position.Skills Must have excellent communication skills.
