Staff Accountant – Manufacturing | Hartford, CT

Our client, a growing family-owned manufacturing company in Hartford, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. This newly added role reflects the company’s continued expansion and commitment to maintaining a strong financial foundation.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
Perform account reconciliations and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
Assist with financial reporting and ad hoc projects for leadership
Contribute to the accuracy and integrity of financial data

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions

Salary Range: $58,000 – $68,000
Bonus: Annual performance-based bonus
