We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations within a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on executing cost analysis, maintaining accurate product costing, and supporting financial reporting. The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, and comfortable working closely with operations to ensure cost accuracy and efficiency.
Will consider recent college graduates with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
This position will offer a Monday- Friday 8-5 schedule with competitive salary and benefits package offered.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business strongly preferred. Will consider candidates without education requirement who have a minimum 10 years experience in an Accountant role.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, governmental accounting standards, and corporate accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and MS Office.
- Ability to perform detailed account reconciliation and balance sheet analysis accurately.
- Strong mathematical aptitude coupled with solid understanding of debits & credits, journal entries, double-entry bookkeeping and general ledger management.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments and supporting audit processes.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data for decision-making purposes.
