We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a growing accounting team. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and supporting the month-end close process. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP.
Perform balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations, including:
Cash
Accounts Receivable
Accounts Payable
Prepaid Expenses
Fixed Assets
Inventory
Accruals
Intercompany Accounts
Support month-end close activities and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
Analyze account activity and investigate discrepancies or unusual variances.
Assist with financial reporting, variance analysis, and profitability reporting.
Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
Support process improvements and special projects to enhance accounting operations.
Partner with teams across multiple departments to ensure accurate financial information.
