Reporting to the Controller, this role is ideal for an early‑to‑mid‑career accounting professional with a strong foundation in GAAP, month‑end close, and reconciliations who is eager to grow in a fast‑paced, multi‑entity pharmaceutical environment. The Staff Accountant will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and strong internal controls.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting Operations & ClosePrepare and post journal entries in accordance with GAAPSupport month‑end and year‑end close activities, including balance sheet and income statement reconciliationsResearch, analyze, and resolve variances and discrepancies in a timely mannerMulti‑Entity & Financial Reporting SupportSupport accounting activities for multiple legal entities, including intercompany transactions and reconciliationsAssist with entity‑level reporting and consolidation supportAssist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting schedulesOperational & Inventory AccountingSupport accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, and cost accounting processes as neededEnsure appropriate documentation, controls, and audit trails for all transactionsSystems, Controls & Process ImprovementWork within ERP and accounting systems (QuickBooks, Odoo, or similar) to ensure accurate data entry and reportingAssist in maintaining and improving accounting processes, internal controls, and documentationCross‑Functional CollaborationPartner with operations, sales, and HR teams to ensure accurate and complete financial informationCommunicate clearly with internal stakeholders regarding accounting questions, timelines, and issuesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance requiredMaster's degree in Accounting or related field a plus1–3 years of general accounting experience in a corporate environmentHands‑on experience with month‑end close, reconciliations, and financial reportingMulti‑entity accounting experience strongly preferredExperience with inventory, cost accounting, or project accounting a plusWorking knowledge of GAAP and accrual accountingProficiency with ERP systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similarCore CompetenciesAttention to Detail | Analytical Problem Solving | GAAP & Accrual AccountingMulti‑Entity Accounting Support | Operational ExcellenceTime Management & Adaptability | Cross‑Functional CollaborationProcess & Compliance Orientation | Systems & Data AccuracySeniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionAccounting/Auditing and Finance#J-18808-Ljbffr
