Staff Accountant

In addition, our affiliated business, CLE Golf, operates in the golf and hospitality industry, creating a dynamic opportunity for an accounting professional to support multiple growing organizations. Our finance team plays a crucial role in managing costs, tracking operations, and ensuring accurate financial reporting to support continued growth across both businesses.
We are looking for a Staff Accountant with 3–5 years of experience to join our team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have strong attention to detail, and enjoy working with numbers, this position is for you.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage general accounting functions for multiple entities, including all monthly and quarterly journal entries to properly record transactions.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy in inventory, cost, cash, and operational accounts.
- Prepare daily and monthly management and financial reports.
- Perform daily invoicing and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accuracy.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting to guide manufacturing, hospitality, and operational decisions.
- Audit and process payroll for multiple entities, including payroll tax reporting and related benefit compliance.
- Prepare sales tax returns and ensure compliance with applicable manufacturing, retail, and hospitality tax regulations.
- Support accounting functions for CLE Golf, including revenue reconciliation, event and membership reporting, POS/cash controls, vendor payments, and operating expense analysis.
- Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
- Assist in special projects as necessary, including cost analysis, process improvements, and operational efficiency initiatives.
Desired Skills:
- Proven accounting experience in manufacturing, hospitality, retail, or multi-entity environments preferred.
- Solid understanding of cost accounting and financial controls.
- Ability to work under pressure and communicate with all levels of management and employees.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- 2–5 years of accounting experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel utilizing Pivot Tables and advanced formulas.
- Knowledge or experience with QuickBooks, ERP systems, and POS systems a plus.
- Experience with multi-entity accounting preferred.
