Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:

• Process and code vendor invoices by project and cost category
• Maintain job cost accounting records and reconcile accounts to the general ledger
• Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations across multiple entities
• Manage accounts receivable activities, customer payments, deposits, and collections
• Prepare journal entries and support month-end close procedures as a Staff Accountant
• Assist with financial reporting, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support lender reporting, construction draws, and CPA documentation requests
• Collaborate with leadership on accounting projects and process improvements typical of a Staff Accountant position

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

• 5+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or Staff Accountant experience, preferably within construction or real estate
• Strong understanding of job cost accounting and general ledger reconciliations
• Proficiency with QuickBooks
• Experience managing accounting activities across multiple entities
• Ability to work independently while handling the diverse responsibilities of a Staff Accountant
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills required for a successful Staff Accountant
