As a Staff Accountant, you will perform daily loan funding and investor purchase reconciliations, prepare and record financial transactions, and ensure company compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.Job ResponsibilitiesReview funding and sales related reconciliations of various data points and accounts contained in the company's general ledger and various other financial reportsEnsure accuracy and reasonableness of recorded financial transactions and that the transactions booked meet policies/procedures and regulatory requirementsPerform daily investor purchase and funding reconciliationsPerform daily loan fundings to include, but not limited to: preparing advanced funding schedules, processing timely wire disbursements on multiple warehouse banks, recordation of fundings and correspondence with internal closing teamRecord company card reconciliation and corresponding general ledger entriesPrepare daily cash and warehouse bank reconciliationsAd hoc reporting and other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum of 2 years' prior mortgage banking experience preferredUnderstanding of accounting concepts (GAAP) and control requirements, especially for transactions of financial services companiesHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to produce, administer and review reconciliation processesAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentACM promotes an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) workplace.
