The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills, a solid understanding of GAAP, and experience with various accounting software. The Staff Accountant will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and supporting strategic financial initiatives.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPrepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirementsPerform general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliationsManage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficientlyManage the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, collections, and accurate payment applicationPerform monthly reconciliations of partner closed‑deal reports to HubSpot data and collaborate with the sales team to investigate and resolve variancesConduct balance sheet reconciliation and journal entries to ensure accuracy of financial dataAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support management decision‑makingProcess vendor invoices through Bill.com, ensuring timely and accurate entry and approval routingManage the accounting inbox, ensuring timely responses and proper issue escalationUtilize accounting software such as Intacct and Dynamics GP, and other financial tools for data entry and reportingPrepare detailed financial reports and interpret financial data for management reviewPartner with the Director of Finance and CFO on process improvements and automation initiatives across the accounting functionSupport ad hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field1–3 years of relevant accounting experienceStrong knowledge of GAAP, accrual accounting, double‑entry bookkeeping, debits & creditsProficiency in ExcelExcellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple tasks efficientlyExcellent communication and problem‑solving skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teamsExperience in Sage Intacct, HubSpot, and Bill.com are a plusThis position offers an engaging opportunity for professionals seeking growth within a collaborative finance team dedicated to excellence in financial management.We are an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
