This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the timely completion of recurring accounting processes.ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIESProcess vendor invoices and employee reimbursements in a timely and accurate mannerMaintain vendor records (COI and W-9) and assist with year-end 1099 filingsRecord incoming client payments and prepare depositsMaintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciationAssist with monthly journal entries and account reconciliationsSupport month-end and year-end close proceduresSupport ad-hoc financial tasks and projects as neededAssist with internal purchase order generation/processesOther duties as assigned by Principals and Director of FinanceQUALIFICATIONS & SKILLSExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Deltek, or similar) and Microsoft ExcelEDUCATION & EXPERIENCEAssociate's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field2+ years of general accounting experienceSALARY & BENEFITSMSKTD & Associates offers competitive compensation and an excellent benefit package, including health/life insurance (HSA), 401(k), 401(k) match, bonus pay as profits and performance permit, and reimbursement for continuing education.HOW TO APPLYPlease email your resume and cover letter as one document in PDF format to acctemployment@msktd.com.
