Staff Accountant Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting account reconciliations.
• 
  
• Manage the full payroll process, including payroll taxes and benefit-related payments.
• 
  
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, loans, and accruals.
• 
  
• Maintain balance sheet schedules and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• 
  
• Coordinate insurance administration and support cross-functional financial initiatives.
• 
  
• Identify process improvements and help strengthen accounting procedures.
• 
  

What We're Looking For in a Staff Accountant

• 
  
• 2+ years of full-cycle accounting experience.
• 
  
• Experience processing payroll and managing payroll tax compliance.
• 
  
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
