We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with month-end close and reporting processes.
The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while collaborating across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Assist with financial reporting and preparation of internal statements
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
Analyze financial data and identify trends, variances, and issues
Assist with audit preparation and documentation
Ensure compliance with established accounting policies and procedures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and accuracy
Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of accounting experience (public or industry) preferred
Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
Experience with general ledger and financial reporting
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas)
Experience with accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications
CPA or CPA eligibility (a plus)
Experience with month-end close and audit support
Familiarity with internal controls and compliance processes
Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
