Staff Accountant

Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join their client's dynamic team in Nevada. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional to contribute to the financial success of the organization. The Staff Accountant will work closely with the Controller to ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial records and support the overall accounting functions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Perform account and bank reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and integrity.
• Support financial reporting and audit activities.
• Reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed asset accounts.
• Analyze variances and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Assist with financial documentation and compliance projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software/ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Sage Intacct.
• Healthcare industry experience.
• Audit support experience.

Required Work Hours

Monday through Friday, 1st shift.

This position offers a competitive salary with a pay range of $33.65 to $36.06 per hour, along with opportunities for growth in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
