We're working with a well-established manufacturing company in the Triad area seeking a Staff Accountant with 1-2 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity to build hands-on experience in cost accounting and general ledger functions within a fast‑paced operation.
What You'll Do:
Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
Support cost accounting activities, including inventory, labor, and overhead
Prepare and analyze financial reports and account variances
Reconcile inventory and support cycle counts and physical inventories
Assist with AP/AR, fixed assets, and general ledger maintenance
Work closely with operations and plant leadership to support financial accuracy
Help ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures
What We're Looking For:
1-2 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Exposure to cost accounting and inventory accounting strongly preferred
Proficiency with Excel; ERP system experience a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Willingness to learn and grow within a team-oriented accounting department
Pay Details: $26.00 to $29.00 per hour
