You'll work with reconciliations, financial data, ERP systems, and process improvement initiatives while playing an important role in keeping day-to-day accounting operations running smoothly.

Staff Accountant

Location: Holland, MI
Compensation: $45,000 - $55,000
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Position Type: Full-Time | Fully Onsite

Responsibilities

Download financial data from multiple systems, manipulate and prepare it for upload into NetSuite
Import financial information from platforms
Assist with automation initiatives related to financial data imports and processes
Complete daily bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare weekly ACH collections for approval based on customer due dates
Prepare weekly ACH payment runs for approval using established payment schedules
Maintain accurate financial records and support the accounting team with additional projects as needed

Qualifications

Required:

1-2+ years of reconciliation experience
Experience working within an ERP system
Solid understanding of debits and credits
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred:

Experience with NetSuite
Experience using AI tools to improve efficiency or automate processes
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
