Our client is seeking a Contract Staff Accountant to support a reconciliation project and month-end close. This role is ideal for an experienced accountant who enjoys digging into the details, resolving discrepancies, and supporting a team as the company continues to grow.
Responsibilities
Post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and maintain general ledger accuracy.
Assist with month-end and year-end close and annual audit.
Manage fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and capital expenditures.
Run financial reports and perform variance analyses.
Maintain updated billing records and manage incoming payments, ensuring all documentation is correctly applied to the appropriate accounts.
Identify inefficiencies in accounting process and suggest solutions.
