A leading general contracting company is seeking a
Staff Accountant I to join its growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Accounting or Finance graduate, or a candidate with up to two years of experience, including one busy season in public accounting.
Location: West Chester, OH
Job Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $55,000 - $60,000
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation
- Assist with bank reconciliations and account analyses
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Support month-end close activities and prepare assigned workpapers
- Maintain accounting records and documentation in accordance with internal controls
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 0–2 years of accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred:- Progress toward CPA certification
- Exposure to multiple general ledger areas
- Interest in technical accounting research and process improvement
