Staff accountant II

Role: Accountant II
Location: AZ, remote
Pay: $63 - $75K 
Bonus: Eligible 

Join a growing healthcare organization as an Accountant II supporting corporate accounting operations. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating across departments, and contributing to accurate financial reporting and month-end close processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.
• Support month-end close and maintain general ledger accounts.
• Assist with internal and external audits, including schedules and supporting documentation.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and audit findings.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and other cross-functional teams.
• Help document and improve accounting processes and procedures.
• Support special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
