We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant – Income Auditor to support the Finance team by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the resort's daily revenue reporting and financial records.
Position Summary
The Staff Accountant – Income Auditor audits daily resort revenues, reconciles financial activity, prepares journal entries, supports month-end close, and partners with operational departments to maintain accurate financial reporting.

Essential Responsibilities
- Audit daily revenue from Rooms, Food & Beverage, Banquets, Spa, Golf, Retail, and Recreation.
- Verify room revenue, taxes, service charges, discounts, and package postings.
- Review PMS, POS, and accounting system interfaces.
- Investigate and resolve revenue discrepancies.
- Prepare and distribute Daily Revenue Reports.
- Review cash over/short reports and manager adjustments.
- Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and audits.
- Assist with sales tax reporting and maintain accounting documentation.
- Recommend process improvements and strengthen internal controls.
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- 2–4 years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred
- Hospitality or hotel accounting experience
- Income Audit experience
- Experience with hotel PMS and POS systems
- ERP/accounting software experience
