Our client is a Growing Investment Firm in Orange County and this is a newly created role reporting to the Controller. We are looking for an ambitious accountant with 3-5 years of professional experience in GL, AP and financial reporting. This is a great opportunity to expand your experience and take on special projects. The successful candidate will possess strong attention to detail and organization skills with excellent communication and technical skills. This individual must have the ability to work well under pressure and balance multiple priorities and assignments to meet deadlines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist Controller with monthly financial reporting and quarterly investor reporting
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
  • Assist with balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare variance analysis
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget.
  • Assist in the preparation for the year end audit.
  • Prepare annual reporting for third party entities and yearly tax compliance.

Knowledge/Experience
  • 3-5 years of general accounting experience including balance sheet and SG&A account reconciliations
  • Degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Industry experience is a plus ( investment, real estate, outsourced accounting, family office).
  • Solid Excel
  • Former military experience respected
