We want to welcome go-getters that are motivated to focus on pooling resources, knowledge and skills to get the job done.Summary/ObjectiveResponsible for supporting Business Unit Controllers and the Corporate Controller with managing accounting functions including general ledger, month-end close, treasury process.Essential FunctionsPrepare journal entries and analyze monthly accruals, deferrals and reclassifications in accordance with US GAAPSupport month-end close processes, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial recordsPerform balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis and investigate reconciling items to resolutionAssist with P&L reviews, including variance analysis versus budget and prior periodsPartner with the Operations and Commercial team to ensure proper accounting treatment of transactions and operational activitiesPerform lease analysis on an as needed basis under ASC 842Review and approve purchase ordersMaintain fixed asset schedules including asset additions, disposal, transfers and depreciationMaintain daily reconciliation of cash activity in the bank vs recorded in NS general ledger.Serve as a back-up for financial reportingSupport for external audits and internal reviewsMaintain compliance with accounting policies and US GAAPSupport for the budget processQualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in accounting (or Finance with strong accounting focus)2-4 years of experience (Public Accounting/Big 4 experience preferred)Strong working knowledge of US GAAPAdvanced proficiency in excel (pivot tables, lookup, data analysis)Strong attention to detail.CPA or CPA eligibleFamiliarity with NetSuite (preferred)Strong attention to detail with the ability to see the “big picture”Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesAbility to work independentlyWillingness to support ad hoc projects and evolving business needsComfortable working cross-functionally with non-finance partnersClear written and verbal communication skillsSupervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no direct reports.Well-lighted, heated, and/or air‑conditioned indoor officePhysical DemandsSedentary physical activity performing non‑strenuous daily activities of an administrative nature.
