Snyder & Company is a fast-growing CPA firm in Lancaster, Ohio, that prides itself on being "not like other accountants." We're looking for a staff accountant to join our fun and unique culture. Our main software systems include Rightworks, GoFileRoom, UltraTax, Checkpoint CoCounsel and QuickBooks.
In this critical role, you will:
Prepare tax returns and financial statements, handle bookkeeping and payroll tax filings, and take on whatever else comes your way
Grow your technical and problem-solving skills through hands-on client work
Build relationships with clients and teammates, and contribute to the ongoing growth of the firm
Support partners and managers in delivering great service, including working directly with clients
Apply critical thinking and research skills to reach conclusions and make recommendations
Qualifications:
Associate degree required; bachelor's degree or higher a plus
Strong analytical skills and sound judgment
Solid written and verbal communication, documentation and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced, and complex environment
Self-motivated with a positive attitude, and able to work both independently AND as part of a team
Experience with UltraTax, GoFileRoom, Adobe Acrobat, and QuickBooks a plus
