Job Summary:
This position involves preparing income tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships, with the potential to work on returns for trusts, estates, and non-profit organizations. The role includes direct client interaction to gather information and address any tax or accounting questions.
Compensation: $71,000-$80,000
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
Potentially handle tax returns for estates, trusts, and non-profits.
Complete tasks accurately and on time under supervision.
Collaborate with the tax team to improve processes.
Perform basic accounting tasks, mainly using client records (e.g., QuickBooks).
Must Haves:
A bachelor's degree in accounting
At least 4 years of recent experience in public accounting with a focus on tax return preparation
