Staff Accountant Key Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day Accounts Payable activity in P21 / Prophet 21
- Review and process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documentation
- Perform three-way matching and investigate discrepancies involving pricing, inventory, or receipts
- Maintain vendor files, payment documentation, and required tax forms
- Reconcile vendor issues and help ensure timely, accurate payments
- Assist with additional accounting responsibilities and cross-functional projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- Prior P21 / Prophet 21 experience strongly preferred
- Background in distribution, inventory, or a similar high-volume environment
- Strong Accounts Payable and three-way matching experience
- Working knowledge of inventory-related accounting processes
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and understanding of GAAP
