Description
A reputable financial services firm is seeking a Staff Accountant to contribute to core accounting operations and financial reporting processes. This position offers strong exposure to regulatory and financial reporting within a professional services environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform monthly and quarterly close processes
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
- Assist with financial statement preparation
- Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies
- Support external audits and compliance reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2-4 years of accounting experience; public accounting experience is a plus
- Understanding of financial reporting standards and internal controls
- Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
