Staff Accountant - Manufacturing Sparks, NV | $70k - $75k + BenefitsOur client, a growing privately held manufacturing and distribution company, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who wants exposure to all areas of accounting — from general ledger and reconciliations to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and audit support. It's a hands-on position with visibility across departments and the chance to work in a collaborative environment that values integrity, teamwork, and operational excellence.What You'll Do As a Staff Accountant, you will support daily and monthly accounting processes while ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls.Prepare and post monthly journal entries to maintain accurate general ledger reportingReconcile bank accounts, credit cards, vendors, and customer accountsManage employee expense reports and reimbursements in SAP ConcurAssist with annual audits by preparing schedules and documentationProvide backup support for accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and collectionsInvestigate and resolve discrepancies, deductions, and chargebacks in coordination with internal teamsWhat We're Looking For 2+ years of accounting experience (A/P, A/R, general ledger)Strong working knowledge of GAAP and full-cycle accountingProficiency with Microsoft Excel; ERP experience (Sage X3 preferred)Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple prioritiesAssociate's Degree in Accounting required; Bachelor's preferredManufacturing industry experience strongly preferredMOHR Talent is an equal-opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local nondiscrimination laws.
