Staff Accountant

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Key Responsibilities

• General Ledger: Maintain the general ledger by posting journal entries and updating account balances.
• Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements, credit card logs, and balance sheet accounts.
• Invoicing and Billing: Processing of sales orders, customer invoicing, and supporting revenue documentation while ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
• Month-End Close: Assist with closing processes, accruals, and adjustments.
• Transactions: Support accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and payroll functions.
• Audits and Tax: Prepare supporting documents and schedules for internal and external audits or tax filings.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of general accounting experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP Concur, Oracle NetSuite).
• Knowledge: Fundamental understanding of US GAAP or IFRS standards
