Ramsey Solutions Headquarters is located just outside of Nashville in Franklin, Tennessee. We value our strong, unified company culture because we believe the best work is done together. What You'd Do in This Role:
As a Staff Accountant at Ramsey Solutions, you'll own the accuracy of financial records that keep the whole organization running with confidence. You'll prepare balance sheet reconciliations, support month-end close, and help ensure that interdepartmental cost allocations are accurate and easy for business leaders to understand. You'll also support the team's tax compliance work, jumping in on research questions and helping with audit prep as needed. If you love bringing order to a good financial puzzle, this is your kind of role.
You're Probably a Match If:
- You have some accounting experience, whether from a degree in accounting or finance, coursework, or hands-on work (new graduates are welcome to apply).
- You're the kind of person who digs into discrepancies until you find the root cause rather than just moving on.
- You ask good questions and treat "I'm not sure" as a starting point, not a stopping point.
- You're detail-oriented and take real pride in keeping financial records clean, accurate, and well-documented.
- You have some exposure to accounts payable or accounts receivable (a bonus, not a requirement).
- You're comfortable building better processes as you go, especially when there's ground to recover and a backlog to work through.
What Winning Looks Like:
- Preparing balance sheet account reconciliations that are well-supported, clearly documented, and consistently accurate, with discrepancies investigated and resolved promptly.
- Meeting month-end close deadlines and proactively communicating any risks or roadblocks before they become problems.
- Developing and maintaining interdepartmental cost allocations that department leaders can understand, trust, and rely on for decision-making.
- Monitoring allocation drivers and validating accuracy so that cost flows remain consistent and defensible over time.
- Partnering with FP&A and business units to help them understand how their costs fit into the organization's financial picture.
- Supporting compliance by researching state tax questions as they arise and assisting with audits or regulatory inquiries when called upon.
