Our client is a hospitality tech company that provides an all-in-one software platform to help hotels streamline various operations. They are searching for a Staff Accountant to join their team ASAP!

Salary:
$70-90k base salary + full comprehensive benefits

Job Summary:
A growing, technology-enabled services organization is seeking a highly motivated Staff Accountant to join its finance team. This role will be responsible for supporting full-cycle accounting operations and contributing to the development and efficiency of the accounting function. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all transactions.
  • Oversee customer invoicing, including billing for services and reimbursement of company-related expenses.
  • Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and tax-related support.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Assist with audits and financial reconciliations as needed.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables and past-due invoices.
  • Contribute to process improvements and support special projects as assigned.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff and help drive team performance and development.

Qualifications:
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, including staff-level responsibilities.
  • Strong experience with month-end close, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, accruals, and fixed assets.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or mentoring capacity.
  • Experience with financial reporting and variance analysis.
