This position will work in a team environment and directly correspond with various department heads and will report directly to the Financial Controller. The position will include opportunities to grow within the organization which is continually expanding. The Staff Accountant will be the primary Finance staff responsible for ensuring accounts receivable balances are booked correctly to the ledger and continually provide process improvement suggestions to daily and monthly processes.Prepare and reconcile intercompany entriesMark to market firm investments on a monthly basis, prepare journal entries, and post to the ledgerPost payroll journals, 401k and health allocationPrepare and distribute invoices for account receivables and post journalsPrepare and post accrued expense journalsReconcile, research and resolve differences and book appropriate journal entriesReconcile assigned Balance Sheet accountsAssist with regulatory and year end audit examinationsAssist with process improvement and best practices initiativesAssist with adhoc projectsCreate and update desk proceduresQualificationsThis is an entry level position. Candidates graduating after December2025 will not be considered.Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Accounting or FinanceMinimum 1 year of Accounting experienceMust possess a good understanding of general accountingWorking knowledge of GMI, Sun GL System and/or Oracle a plusProficient in Microsoft ExcelExcellent organizational skills as well as a strong sense of time management and detail for all completed workThis hybrid role in Warren, New Jersey offers compensation typical for entry‑level positions in the region.Hiring Salary $60,000 - $70,000 annually (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity and alignment with market data). Subject to business performance and recommendations of management, this role may be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
