Transportation organization in the Greater Central Ohio-area is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the team with daily general ledger functions, reporting prep, and intercompany tasks. Salary is $60-70k, DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT:

• 
  
• The Staff Accountant will support general ledger accounting including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and fixed asset activity as needed
• 
  
• The Staff Accountant will pull data and prepare Excel-based reporting to support financial visibility and decision-making
• 
  
• Provide light accounts payable and accounts receivable support across multiple entities as needed
• 
  
• Assist with bookkeeping functions and accounting support for additional business entities
• 
  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT

• 
  
• Must have strong general ledger accounting knowledge including debits, credits, journal entries, and reconciliations
• 
  
• Must have intermediate to advanced Excel skills including formulas and data manipulation
• 
  
• Associate degree or higher is a plus, not a must
• 
  
• Experience with Great Plains is a plus, not a must
