Staff Accountant - Non-Profit

A non-profit organization located near Culver City is looking for a Staff Accountant on a long-term contract basis. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for preparing journal entries, helping manage federal, state, and county funding sources (grants), perform general ledger management, A/P, A/R, and account reconciliation. The Staff Accountant will also review expense budgets, monitor grant funding budgets, as well as assist with ad hoc projects and administrative tasks.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or related discipline is preferred.
• At least two years of non-profit accounting experience.
• Must have very good time management and communication skills.
• Strong MS Office knowledge is required. Financial Edge experience is a plus.
• Pay, $32 - 35/hr.
