Staff Accountant

• Assist in audit engagements, including:
  • Preparing workpapers and financial statements
  • Performing account reconciliations
  • Testing internal controls
• Support tax preparation, including:
  • Individual and business tax returns
  • Gathering and organizing client financial data
• Conduct financial analysis and basic research on accounting issues
• Work with senior accountants and managers on client engagements
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and firm standards
• Communicate with clients to request documents and clarify information

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's a plus)
• CPA track (150 credits or working toward it)
• Internship or relevant experience preferred but not required
• Strong Excel skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
