Staff Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a stable growing client in the Oklahoma City, OK area to fill a Staff Accountant role to support financial reporting, account reconciliation activities, and month-end accounting processes. This role offers exposure to complex accounting operations, financial analysis, internal controls, and cross-functional collaboration within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and report financial data to support business operations and regulatory requirements

• Perform general ledger account reconciliations and investigate variances

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

• Support the development, documentation, and maintenance of internal controls

• Collaborate with external auditors, internal stakeholders, and third-party service providers

• Participate in system enhancement, testing, and implementation projects related to financial reporting

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards

• Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum 0-1 years' experience in an accounting or finance role

• Public accounting experience is a plus

• CPA designation or progress toward certification is preferred

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

• Experience with NetSuite preferred

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• High attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
