We are seeking a dynamic and highly-motivated Permanent Staff Accountant to join our thriving Marketing team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a passionate professional to leverage their accounting skills in a fast-paced and innovative marketing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a broad range of accounting functions, including accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, Sage Intacct management, ledger analysis, accounts payable, and media spending. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Staff Accountant in our team, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, and treasury.
2. Streamlining and implementing accounting systems and operations for maximum efficiency.
3. Managing the preparation and review of all monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
4. Overseeing and maintaining the general ledger system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
5. Managing the monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts.
6. Working closely with the marketing team to monitor and manage media spending.
7. Utilizing Sage Intacct software for various accounting tasks.
8. Preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts in coordination with the executive team.
9. Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local corporate, payroll, and other applicable taxes and regulations.
10. Participating in the development and support of internal controls, company policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the marketing industry.
3. Proven experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and ledger analysis.
4. Proficiency in Sage Intacct accounting software.
5. Experience in managing media spending is a plus.
6. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
7. Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
9. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
10. High proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
