OverviewStaff Accountant - full-time / permanent position with a direct client of Aprio Talent Solutions. Location: Palo Alto, CA - Downtown North (on-site required, five days a week).Base pay range$50.00/hr - $65.00/hrWhy It's Worth Your TimeJoin an established medical practice that is growing.What You'll OwnUtilize NetSuite to manage multi-entity accounting under an MSO structureMaintain accurate general ledger records across multiple entitiesRecord and reconcile daily transactions including A/P, A/R, payroll, and bank feedsProcess vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and payments in compliance with policiesReconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany balances monthlySupport month-end, quarterly, and year-end close (journal entries, accruals, reconciliations)Prepare financial reports and summaries for management and partner practicesMonitor cash flow and prepare cash flow statements and projectionsProvide quarterly financials with comparisons to prior periods and prior yearIdentify and report significant expense variances (10%+ month over month)Coordinate with practice managers to ensure accurate revenue and expense allocationsSupport audits and ensure compliance with state-specific regulations and internal controlsMaintain vendor records, W-9s, and assist with 1099 preparationCollaborate with external accountants and auditors during audits and tax seasonContinuously seek process improvements leveraging NetSuite functionalityMust-HavesBachelor's degree in AccountingExpert-level proficiency in NetSuite3+ years of experience with MSO healthcare accounting (or private equity)Solid understanding of GAAP and bookkeeping best practicesHigh attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skillsNice to HaveExperience in healthcare or medical group settingsFamiliarity with revenue cycle management and healthcare billing conceptsExperience supporting outsourced CPA firms or auditorsSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionAccounting/AuditingIndustriesMedical Practices#J-18808-Ljbffr
