About the Company and Staff Accountant Opportunity:

• CFS is working with a well-established multi entity organization to find a Staff Accountant to join their team. This role will support the small accounting team with day-to-day tasks and help keep financial records accurate and up to date.
•

• Reports to the CFO

Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:

• 
  
• Help with daily accounting tasks like entering journal entries, recording payroll, and keeping financial records organized
• 
  
• Complete monthly account reconciliations (making sure numbers match bank and company records)
• 
  
• Review company credit card transactions and fix any errors or missing information
• 
  
• Assist with preparing basic financial reports for leadership
• 
  
• Work with other departments to make sure financial information is correct and submitted on time
• 
  
• Support the budgeting process and help track spending
• 
  
• Help get documents ready for audits and keep records in good order
• 
  
• Assist with tax filings and other required reports
• 
  
• Provide support to accounts payable and receivable when needed
• 
  

Ideal Candidate Profile for the Staff Accountant Role:

• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field a plus
• 
  
• 2+ years of accounting experience (nonprofit, property management, or hospitality is a plus)
• 
  
• Friendly, professional, and able to work with different teams
• 
  
• Intermediate Excel skills (comfortable with spreadsheets and basic formulas)
• 
  

Schedule: 100% on site M-F
Salary: $65,000-$75,000
