The overall responsibility of the Staff Accountant is to support the Controller in the maintenance of accurate and timely financial statements. Duties for the position include assisting the Controller during the monthly accounting close; preparing account and bank reconciliations as assigned, serve as back-up for both our AP and AR Associates in their absence; and maintain internal and external records retention.Essential Job Functions:Assist the Controller during the monthly accounting close processPrepare and enter journal entries as required.Review and approve AP vouchers under $1000.Reconcile monthly board billsProcess billing on a daily basis.Review and process board bills ACH transfers weekly.Accounts Payable Associate back-upAccounts Receivable Associate back-upAdditional Responsibilities:Prepare bank reconciliations as required.Review account analysis for discrepancies.File accounting documents.Maintain internal and external records retention.Ad hoc reports as required.Other duties as assignedMonthly inventory reviews of Inventory (RM, WIP & FG) with Customer ServiceAdditional financial reports as necessaryAssist the reception area with the phone duties.Job Qualifications:Accounting or Finance Degree.1-2 years' experience required; Manufacturing/Cost Accounting/Inventory Mgmt. a plusPrior experience with Accounts Payable and Billing modules within ERP systems a plus.Strong mathematical skillsStrong interpersonal skills /Ability to work with others at all levels within the organizationAbility to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.Compensation:Base Salary: $60,000 – 65,000 (based on level of experience)Profit Sharing and Annual Performance Bonus* (*waiting period applies)Accurate Box Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.#J-18808-Ljbffr
