    Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant with a strong background in the manufacturing sector to join our finance team. You will manage the day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining tight controls over production costs and inventory.

    Responsibilities Include

    • Managing the general ledger and performing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures.
    • Analyzing manufacturing variances (labor, material, and overhead) to improve plant efficiency.
    • Overseeing inventory accounting, including cycle counts and reconciliation of physical stock to the G/L.
    • Preparing detailed financial statements and reports for management review.
    • Assisting with internal and external audits to ensure compliance with GAAP.
    • Collaborating with the production team to streamline cost-tracking processes.

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA candidate preferred.
    • 2+ years of accounting experience specifically within a manufacturing environment.
    • Proficiency in ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).
    • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory management.
    • Excellent analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

    Competitive Pay: Compensation is determined by candidate experience, education, certifications, and specific job-related skills. $70k–$100k DOE
