Staff Accountant/ Payroll Analyst

Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Process semi-monthly payroll for approximately 100 employees, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• 
  
• Manage payroll withholdings, deductions, garnishments, and benefit-related payroll transactions.
• 
  
• Review and enter employee benefit invoices for payment and reconciliation.
• 
  
• Perform accounts payable duties, including invoice processing and check runs.
• 
  
• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
• 
  
• Perform bank, payroll, and general ledger account reconciliations.
• 
  
• Assist with month-end close and other routine accounting activities.
• 
  
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• 
  
• Assist with other general accounting responsibilities and special projects as assigned.
• 
  

Qualifications:

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 
  
• 4-6+ years of payroll and general accounting experience preferred.
• 
  
• Experience processing payroll for approximately 100 employees.
• 
  
• Working knowledge of accounts payable, general ledger accounting, and reconciliations.
• 
  
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP functions.
