Location: Corona, CA
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Pay Rate: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour (DOE)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and dependable Staff Accountant with a construction background to support our accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and hands‑on experience working in an ERP environment.

Must‑Have Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Staff Accountant
• Construction industry experience required
• ERP system experience (Sageor or Microsoft Dynamics)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Spanish proficiency preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and GAAP compliance
• Conduct daily and monthly cash flow reviews and monitor variances
• Maintain records of taxes, liabilities, assets, and other financial data
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Reconcile monthly bank statements
• Prepare and file sales and use tax returns
• Record payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll‑related accounts
• Coordinate and processquarterly on‑site inventory counts
• Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
• Prepare and maintain financial spreadsheets and reports
• Assist with audits, reporting, and special accounting projects
• Cross‑train and assist with payroll functions as needed
• Support additional accounting duties as assigned
