Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:

• Manage client accounts and serve as a key contact for accounting-related questions and requests
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end and year-end close activities
• Generate and analyze financial statements, trial balances, and general ledger activity
• Assist with internal control reviews, audits, and financial analysis projects
• Identify process improvements and business growth opportunities for clients

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• 2+ years of accounting experience preferred
• Strong QuickBooks experience required
• Experience with bank reconciliations, general ledger accounting, GAAP fundamentals, and month-end/year-end close
• Confident communicator who can explain and support accounting conclusions and recommendations
