    We're looking for a Senior Staff Accountant who wants to make an impact—not just process transactions.

    You'll work directly with the Controller, play a key role in the month-end close, collaborate across multiple departments, and have the opportunity to grow into an Accounting Manager role as the company continues to evolve.

    What You'll Be Doing

    You'll be responsible for helping ensure accurate financial reporting while supporting day-to-day accounting operations.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Preparing journal entries
    • Managing month-end close activities
    • Performing balance sheet reconciliations
    • Bank and credit card reconciliations
    • Accruals and depreciation entries
    • Supporting Accounts Receivable operations
    • Financial reporting
    • Analyzing discrepancies and identifying solutions
    • Collaborating with Purchasing, Customer Service, Education, Returns and Retail Operations
    • Assisting with accounting process improvements
    • Supporting an upcoming ERP implementation

    What We're Looking For

    We're looking for someone who already has a solid accounting foundation.

    Required

    • 5+ years of accounting experience
    • Strong understanding of:
      • o General Ledger
      • o Journal Entries
      • o Month-End Close
      • o Balance Sheet Reconciliations
      • o Financial Statements
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
    • Acumatica or a comparable ERP(Sage is a plus)
    • Inventory control and cycle count experience
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Strong analytical abilities
    • Ability to work independently
    • Excellent communication skills

    Nice to Have

    • ERP implementation
    • Experience supporting Accounts Receivable
    • High transaction volume environment
    • Manufacturing, wholesale distribution, retail or consumer products experience

    Compensation

    Salary:
    $60,000–$70,000

    • Full-Time
    • Monday–Friday
    • 100% On-site
