Schedule: Full-time onsite
Pay: $46 - $57/hour
Summary
Seeking an Accountant to perform professional-level accounting work including financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, and analysis. This role supports month-end close, audits, and process improvements while operating with moderate independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities
- Analyze revenues, expenses, and financial performance
- Support budget preparation and financial reporting
- Perform cash flow forecasting and bank reconciliations
- Maintain general ledger accounts and audit schedules
- Assist with AP, AR, and payroll-related accounting functions
- Prepare reports for regulatory and government agencies
- Identify and implement process improvements and internal controls
Requirements
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in government, municipal, or utilities industries
