Staff Accountant/QB Online required

Location: Santa Ana, CA

Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite
Compensation: up to 32/hr DOE

Position Overview

Growing organization is seeking a motivated accounting professional to support daily financial operations and assist with month-end reporting activities. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and collaborating with various teams across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial records and support general accounting functions
• Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Process invoices, payments, and vendor-related transactions
• Assist with payroll administration and reporting
• Support financial statement preparation and analysis
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls
• Provide support during audits and special projects
• Recommend and implement process improvements where applicable

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience in a professional setting
• QB Online Experience required
• Knowledge of general ledger activity, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Familiarity with payroll and accounts payable processes
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
